FoodBalt 2019 and NEEFood 2019


ABSTRACT

Abstracts must be written in English. Use of Calibri font in 10 point, justified single spacing is strongly recommended. The abstract should not exceed 250 words. The Abstract should state briefly the aim of the research, the principal results and major conclusions. Tables, figures, photographs and references should not be included in the abstract. Keywords (max. 5 words) should be listed directly below the abstract body with 10 point normal.

In order to fit the page layout please use the template when preparing the abstract.

* Please keep in mind that maximum 2 abstracts per registered participant will be accepted.
Nevertheless only one full paper will be accepted per registration.
For additional paper 60 EUR fee should be paid.

FULL PAPER

Full paper must be written in English. The paper should be divided into the following sections: Abstract, Key words, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, and References. Please fit the manuscript on A4 sized (210 mm × 297 mm) paper, with margins in all sides 25 mm. Use of Times New Roman font with single spacing is strongly recommended. The paper should not exceed 6 pages. The same data should not be reproduced in both diagrams and tables. All the figures, photographs and images should be black and white (no colours). System International (SI) units should be used. The references in the text should correspond to the ones listed in a reference list and should be available for public. The list of references should be included at the end of the text in alphabetical order according to the example. More detailed guidelines are provided in paper template, which should be used for preparing the manuscript.

1.    Research papers - original full-length research papers that have not been published previously and should not exceed 6 pages including references. Research papers should not contain more than 25 references.

2.    Review articles - provide a critical and constructive analysis of existing published literature in a field, through summary, analysis, and comparison, often identifying specific gaps or problems and providing recommendations for future research. Review should not exceed 6 pages, including references. Review articles should not contain more than 50 references.

3.    Short communications - brief reports of data from original research, 3-4 pages, including references. Short communications should not contain more than 15 references.

Full papers and Copyright Transfer should be uploded in the conference website.

ORAL AND POSTER PRESENTATIONS

The oral communication comprises a time space of 15 minutes. The presentation should not exceed 12 minutes, allowing 3 minutes for discussion.
The vertical (portrait) poster should not exceed the following size 65 cm width x 95 cm height. The organizers will provide the material necessary to pin the poster on the wall.
